This report provides a tool for assisting clients in making informed decisions about options for conscientiously preserving their property with community service in mind. The report analyzes the current usage of the property or lack thereof; and provides vitally important information about the perception of the historic place in the community. This report’s primary goal is to offer options for the types of re-purposing paths the owner may wish to follow.

Chosen Grounds will aid the client in identifying neighborhood and other regional community partners in recognizing ways the client can re-imagine and re-purpose their space to become a significant contributing place to the community. This tool and event, while applicable to most historic places, are aimed at declining congregations or sacred sites that want to be more impactful in their community.

This study and report allow the historic ground to financially understand its economic impact in order to leverage its role in grant applications as well as other considerations thru State and Federal agencies.
